WHAT IS LIVE WORKING?
Live working, in Denmark known as L-AUS (lavvolt – arbejde under spænding), is a course concerning work on electric installations between voltage levels 1.000V AC and 1.500V DC.

With this course, you’ll learn how to perform live working (L-AUS) on electric installations according to the international standard DS/EN 50110-1.
During the course, you will:
- Gain understanding of the requirements in DS/EN 50110-1 regarding live working
- Learn to make the necessary evaluations when dealing with live working
- Achieve an orientation about the requirements in DS/EN 50110-1
- Learn how to inspect and evaluate the need for approved equipment before the work is begun

HOW OFTEN IS IT REQUIRED TO BE INSTRUCTED IN LIVE WORKING?
According to the international standard, the person performing live working should be instructed periodically and in a sufficient scope.
This means, that you’ll need to take this course on a regular basis to guarantee maintenance of your skills. You must always be able to perform live working without the risk of an accident.
It is up to the individual to define, how often it is necessary to repeat the instruction regarding live working – but in case of an accident due to lack of instruction, the company will be held responsible.
